Under 'Equipment' you compile a list of all equipment in the production hall, which does no have any direction connection to production, but which you want to include in the monitoring of the maintenance module. These can be lifts, hall doors or compressors, for example.
Before adding a piece of 'Equipment' to the list, you should first form a 'Group' which you can assign to the equipment. This facilitates the management of the maintenance orders in the maintenance module.
