Cause of error
On 'ARBURG ALLROUNDER' machines the causes of errors leading to machine standstill can be input by the machine operator. To do this the operator inputs a number standing for the cause of error in the controller.
On older 'ARBURG ALLROUNDER' models there are seven fixed, pre-defined causes of error. On 'ARBURG ALLROUNDERs' with 'SELOGICA'
controller, the texts can be freely configured.
Here in the Master Data you maintain the connection between the number of cause of error, the explanation text and the status. Via the status, the time during which the cause of error existed is assigned to a specific production resources account (PRA).

The causes of error are displayed and edited in the language in which ALS was started. I.e. the language of the ALS Client is not used. |
 |
To alter one of the first seven causes of error: delete the old cause of error and create a new one. In this way you prevent your changes being overwritten after an ALS update. |
 |
On the ARBURG SELOGICA controller you can enter the text for the cause of error in the 'Host processor configuration' page. Only when a text is entered here can it be displayed when a cause of error
is entered in the 'Host processor communication' page. |

The cause of error texts can be transferred to ARBURG SELOGICA controllers, version 3.090 upwards. This function must be enabled in ALS in
the master data of the machine. Click on the button illustrated here to display a list of machines on which it is possible to install the cause of error texts .
Select the machines and quit the dialog with the 'OK' button. |
On ARBURG SELOGICA controllers version 3.090 and later, the input of causes of error can be compulsory. For more information, see tutorial under 'Optional functions'.
You can also change and erase the causes of error here.
